Alzheimer's Disease International End of Year Forecast

Wednesday, 9 December | 1pm - 2pm GMT

This year's event, The Vital Intersection of Dementia Risk Reduction, Diagnostics, Treatment & Support: A Life-Course Approach, will explore how the latest advances in dementia risk reduction diagnostics and emerging treatments can be integrated to create a more effective continuum of care.

As the global dementia landscape enters a transformative period, with new therapies emerging and advances in diagnostics enabling earlier detection and intervention, the event will examine how these innovations can be aligned with robust risk reduction strategies to improve outcomes for people living with dementia.

World-leading risk reduction expert Professor Miia Kivipelto, neuroscientist and Professor at the University of Eastern Finland and Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, will be in conversation with Chris Lynch, ADI's Deputy CEO and Director of Policy, Research, Communications & Publications.

Together, they will explore the latest global research and innovation, discuss what an integrated approach to dementia prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support could look like in practice, and consider how healthcare systems, policy and public health strategies must evolve to meet the growing global challenge of dementia.

The livestream will be hosted on Zoom and AI translation will be available in more than 70 languages.

Please register your place for the event.
