In recent years, the Edelman Trust Barometer has documented the rise of income-based trust inequality, societal polarization, the politicization of information and culture, mutual distrust between countries, as well as the decline of trust in government. At the 2025 launch event, we will explore the latest Canadian data and will discuss how we can build a more trusting future, with a focus on how CEOs and societal leaders can overcome polarization and how to motivate the public to address large scale challenges to trust.
