The 2023 report found that patients are increasingly becoming their own health advocates, trusting their own research and their peers nearly as much as they trust physicians. The 2024 edition will further examine the rise in the empowered health consumer—who they are, what factors earn and lose their trust and how to engage with them to drive better outcomes for patients and consumers.
