The 2024 Edelman Trust Barometer surveyed more than 32,000 people across 28 markets at a time of profound global change — rapid, overlapping shifts in technology, geopolitics, and the health of the planet. Trust in institutions and their leaders has decayed, as has the reliability of information, leaving people to navigate these dislocations without a unified vision for the future and risking polarization and resistance.
